It’s been 16 years since Armin van Buuren’s weekly radio show A State of Trance started and he has been setting standards since. This time he’s come up with Live Video Streaming along with the audio of the 2 hour long weekly episodes.
But what we’re excited about is that the video streaming is coming from a newly built state of the art studio in Amsterdam!
With 800 streams and counting, A State of Trance has become the definition of Trance Radio. So much so that other artists have come up with their own radio shows which stream on multiple platforms. But Armin is always striving for more.
Here’s what Armin said
“The time has come to take the next step, to go next level with A State of Trance,” Van Buuren said in a press release. “A State Of Trance will be so much more than just a listening experience. Thanks to a full video stream system, you will be able to watch me and A State of Trance live on my Facebook page and YouTube channel, every Thursday from 8 p.m. ’till 10 p.m. CET. In addition, we can offer you a behind-the-scenes look from time to time and will occasionally invite fans and artists to drop by during the live show as well. We will be able to connect like never before, and I hope you’ll love this new development every bit as much as I do.”

Personally, being an avid admirer, I have been following his works for a few years and it’s been a journey that I never want to end. Here’s to hoping he is always here producing great music.
